Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational
commitment and compensation on employee satisfaction and performance. The
population in this study were all permanent employees working at PT. Egasuti
Nasakti in Petapahan as many as 124 people. Sampling uses the census method.
Data analysis using path analysis help SPSS version 22 program. The results
showed that organizational commitment and compensation partially had a
positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Organizational commitment does
not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job
satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
Organizational commitment and compensation affect performance through job
satisfaction. It is expected that the company recruits employees who have the
same value as the company, by doing the right selection stage to find employees
who have similar values with the company, socialize organizational culture more
intensively and carry out job analysis, routine job rotations in certain times to
know the potential and improve employee performance.
