PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT.CITRACITI PASIFIC PEKANBARU DENGAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING
Abstract
This study aimed to examine and analyze the influence of competence
and communication on performance with motivation as intervening variable. The
study was conducted in PT. Citraciti Pasific Pekanbaru. The data used consist of
primary and secondary data. Data were collected by using questionnaires that
given to 103 employees of PT. Citraciti Pasific Pekanbaru that used Census
Sample. Descriptive analysis method is used to describe the characteristics of
respondents and the research hyphotheses by using relevant statistical tests.
Variables used are competence and communication as independent variable,
performance as dependent variable and motivation to intervening or mediation
variable. Analyzer used is path analysis by using program of SPSS 21 for
windows. The results of this study conclude that competence has a direct influence
significantly on performance, the communication directly influence significantly
to performance and motivation have a significant effect on performance.
Indirectly, motivation has positive mediation role on the influence of competence
on performance and motivation has a positive mediation role on the influence of
communication on performance. The improvement of competence effectiveness
and communication are recommended in order to optimize employee performance
and motivation.
