Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and compensation simultaneously and partially on the performance of lecturers and to know the effect of emotional intelligence and compensation on lecturer performance which is moderated by leadership style. This study uses primary data, namely data obtained from interviews and giving questionnaires to all lecturers. Secondary data obtained is related to the object and organizational structure. The sample in this study were lecturers who taught at STIE Pekanbaru Management Program that was accredited B. The analytical method used in this study was to use the correlation analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The research’s result show that emotional intelligence and compensation simultaneously or partially have a significant effect on the performance of lecturers. This study also found results that stated that emotional intelligence did not have a significant effect on the performance of lecturers who were moderated by leadership style and compensation did not significantly influence the performance of lecturers which was moderated by leadership style.
