Abstract


This study aims to determine The effect of Job Characteristics and
Organizational Culture on Work Motivation and Employee Performance at PT.
Tri Teguh Manunggal Sejati-Kampar, Riau. The research method used is
quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all employees at PT.
Tri Teguh Manunggal Sejati-Kampar, Riau and a total sample is 138 people. The
analytical tool used path analysis using SPSS 21 windows.
From the results of the tests that have been carried out, there is a direct influence
of job characteristics on employee performance by 0,153, the indirect effect
between job characteristics on employee performance through work motivation is
0,065, the direct influence of organizational culture on employee performance is
0,648 and indirect influence between organizational culture through work
motivation is 0,200, and the effect of work motivation on work performance is
0,428. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) is
approximetaly 0,84,7 which means that the variable job characteristics and
organizational culture through work motivation on employee performance are
84.7% while the remaining 15.3% is the effect of other variables that are not
amputated in this research.
