Abstract


This research was conducted at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II in
Pekanbaru. This research aimed to observe the effect of knowledge management and
organizational learning on career development and employees’ performance.This research
used 138 respondents as sample and used purposive sampling as sampling method. Path
analysis used to determine the effect of career development as mediating variable in the
relationship between knowledge management and organizational learning to employees
performance.The result showed that knowledge management and organizational learning
had significant effect on career development, then knowledge management and career
development were also having significant effect on employees’ performance. Beside
that, career development mediated the relationship between knowledge management and
organizational learning on employees’ performance.
