Abstract

UNANG SUNANDAR, NIM 1410245164. This study aims to look at theinfluence of the leadership characteristics and health care product innovation and companyperformance to achieve competitive advantage. The variables of this research isveryimportant to do with increasing competition in the business of health servicehospitals.The study was conducted by questionnaire enclosed with proportionate stratifiedrandom sampling technique of 257 respondents. The respondents consisted of allemployees in every part of the RS. Awal Bros Pekanbaru. Based on research conductedby the method of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS 22.0 software on thefull model of this study, the results obtained are feasible and can be used as the basis forstandards and hospital policy in the future. These results meet all eligibility criteria usedmodels can be received, a significance level of 0.085 < 0.05 evidence as a structuralequation model was good, the feasibility of the model as follows: Chi-square =103.456; probability = 0.085; GFI = 0.950; AGFI = 0.930; TLI = 0. 984; RMSEA =0.029; CFI = 0.987; CMIN / DF = 1.217. It can be concluded that the model is feasible touse.The study concluded that leadership characteristics positive and significant effect on theperformance of the company, while the competitive advantage a positive effect but notsignificant, innovative health care products positive and significant impact on corporateperformance and competitive advantage, then the company's performance positive andsignificant impact on competitive advantage. Therefore, this study recommends thehospital. Awal Bros Pekanbaru to continue to develop the characteristics of leadership ismost appropriate for field hospitals, develop innovative health care products on an ongoingbasis so that the performance of the company increased and Awal Bros still has acompetitive advantage.Recommendations put forward the order for RS. Awal Bros canalways give satisfaction to patients, maintain patient to keep accessing hospitalservices. Early Bros, and raise / attract people to continue to use a range of health care,then the RS. Awal Bros must implement a program trend care disclosure of clinicalinformation to patients and the choice of treatment decisions, provide health care servicesthe best, safe, high quality, innovative, facilitating communication problem physicians,patients and hospitals provided services patient advocate , since the competition hospitalsare tight, RS. Awal Bros must innovate diagnostic service centers and service centers ofexcellence (Center OF Excellent) as a specialist clinic cardiac surgery PCI only need careone day post-surgery, neurologist and neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists and specialist insurgical oncology so from different regions clinics and other hospitals when needed theservice may simply referred to the hospital.
