THE EFFECT OF CAREER PLANNING AND PLACEMENT OF COMMITMENT AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN RIAU PROVINCE REGIONAL EMPLOYMENT BOARD

Abstract


Abstract. This research was conducted at the Regional Employment Board of Riau Province tothe employee who is a government agency that serves as the institution in the field of personnel in theRiau Provincial Government structure. The population in this study were all employees of the RegionalEmployment Board of Riau province, amounting to 129 people. Determination of the number ofsamples is done by sampling saturated sampling technique when all members of the population used asa sample, in order to obtain the data sample of 129 respondents. The analysis tool used is multiplelinear regression analysis using SPSS 16.From the test results have shown that the variable career planning and placement significantlyinfluence the commitment and the commitment of the variables affect the performance of employees ofthe Regional Employment Board of Riau Province. Simultaneously result that career plan ning andplacement significant effect on commitment.With regard to three (3) This variable is career planning, placement and commitment, then the agencyshould pay attention to the indicators in order to improve employee performance. In terms of careerplanning needs to be improved is in the form of implementation of the terms of the ability of technicaltraining for employees in order to improve its performance. In terms of placement to note is theeducational background and interests of employees on work given to avoid mistakes in the work. Interms of commitments that need to be improved is the attention of the employees of the variousproblems faced by the organization, so that organizational goals can be achieved.
